Fort Custer Fall Dryland Event

  • This is a 2-day race. By submitting an entry, you are signing up for both days. 
  • All regular sled dog race rules & trail etiquett norms apply.  PASSING MANNERS ARE A MUST.

  • Exact start times will not be available until the week of the race after entries close. Approximate race hours are from 8:30am-2pm daily.
  • Canicross 5k will run first at 8:30am, followed by 5-dog rig at approx 9:30am. Classes will be arranged from there, ending with Fun Runs.

Entries open: September 15 , 2025


Entries close: October 28, 2025 at 6pm ET

The entrance is actually off M96 near:

 Players Grill 

506 E Michigan Ave

Augusta, MI 49012

Entrance Coordinates:  42.334678, -85.338311 


Main park entrance sign is less than a quarter mile East of Players Grill.


 From the West (Eastbound M96), it's just past Players Grill and over the Kalamazoo River and railroad tracks.

 

From the East (Westbound M96), if you cross the railroad tracks and pass Player's Grill, you've gone a tad too far.
